1.0 OBJECTIVE
Wasiyyah Shoppe Berhad (WSB) has established a Whistleblowing Policy on workplace misconduct to enable WSB employees, Consultants, and the general public to report breaches of conduct and/or integrity in a structured manner and with the assurance that the Whistleblower Information is protected and confidential.
Misconduct committed by a person appointed by the WSB, such as fraud, corruption, serious financial misconduct, or abuse of power, can be reported through one of the following channels:

- A letter to:PENGERUSI WASIYYAH SHOPPE BERHAD,
A-G-07, Dataran Cascades, No. 13A, Jalan PJU 5/1,
Kota Damasara PJU 5, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
- From Monday to Friday, dial 03-7680 2000. (9.00 am to 6.00 pm).
- Visited the Chairman’s office at Wasiyyah Shoppe Berhad.
2.0 PROTECTION OF INFORMANTS
Whistleblowers will be protected under this Policy if their disclosures are accurate and truthful. Whistleblower protection is codified in the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 (Act 711), which states that the whistleblower’s identity will be protected and kept confidential.
The Informant must provide the following information:
- Name;
- Identification card number; and
- Contact Phone-Office/Mobile Phone/Home Informant will be notified of the outcome of the disclosure.
3.0 REPORTING SCOPE
Any inappropriate behaviour (misbehaviour or criminal offence), including but not limited to the following:
- Corruption and fraud.
- A criminal act.
- Misapplication of WSB funds or assets.
- Serious power abuse in the WSB.
- Financial irregularities or serious violations of WSB financial regulations.
- Actions/ negligence that endanger the health and safety of WSB members, the public, or the environment.
- The intentional act of directing or advising a person to do any one of the above.
4.0 INFORMATION DISCLOSURE CONTENTS
The following information must be included in the report:
- Offender’s name;
- Evidence of the alleged incident;
- Time of incident;
- Date of incident;
- Other pertinent information;
- Supporting evidence (if any);
5.0 PROTECTION
Whistleblower Protection is void if:
- The informant engages in inappropriate behavior.
- The informant purposefully made a false statement.
- Information is disclosed with malicious intent.
- Information disclosure is trivial and inconvenient.
